The Rockwell Museum is the home of a collection of some of Charles Marion Russell's most interesting work and memorabilia. In addition to oils, watercolors, drawings, bronzes and illustrated letters, the museum also houses the only-known Russell-illustrated set of Francis Parkman's book, The Oregon Trail. The art of the American West has been Ginger Renner's special love for most of her life. She married Frederic G. Renner, a collector long-revered for his knowledge of Russell.
